Disclaimer

Effective date: July 7, 2026 • amogos.org

Read this before you download anything. amogos.org is a fan-made resource, and we want to be upfront and clear about what that means for you as a visitor.

1.Website Disclaimer

The information on amogos.org is provided in good faith for general informational purposes about AmogOS. We make reasonable efforts to keep it accurate and up to date, but we make no warranties of any kind about the completeness, accuracy, reliability, or availability of the site or the information it contains.

2.No Affiliation

amogos.org is NOT the official AmogOS website. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the Amog-OS GitHub organization, its developers (Moon1789, Nooz, or peekatchoo), or Innersloth, the developer of Among Us. “AmogOS,” “Among Us,” and related names, logos, and trademarks belong to their respective owners.

3.Download & Hosting

We do not host the AmogOS ISO or any other software files on our own servers. Every download link on this site points directly to the official Amog-OS GitHub Releases page. We do not modify, repackage, or bundle anything with the files we link to.

  • All downloads originate from github.com/Amog-OS/AmogOS/releases
  • We do not add installers, wrappers, or bundled software to any link
  • If a link ever becomes outdated or broken, please let us know

4.No Warranty

AmogOS, like the software it’s built on, is provided “as is” by its developers, with no warranty of any kind, express or implied. We echo that same position: we make no guarantees about AmogOS’s performance, security, or fitness for any particular purpose. AmogOS has not received an update since August 2023 — keep that in mind before installing it anywhere you care about.

5.Limitation of Liability

Your use of AmogOS, and any consequences from downloading, installing, or running it, are entirely your own responsibility. amogos.org and its operators are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this website or any software you download after following a link from it — including but not limited to data loss, hardware issues, or partition/boot problems from a dual-boot install.

Use at your own risk. We strongly recommend testing AmogOS in a virtual machine or live-boot session before installing it to a real partition, and backing up any important data before dual-booting.

6.Respect for Developers

We have genuine respect for the AmogOS team and everyone who contributed to it — this is a volunteer, hobbyist project, and we recognize the work that went into it. We do not claim any ownership over AmogOS, its code, its branding, or any of the software it bundles (Minecraft Pi Reborn, among-sus, and others each belong to their own creators). If you enjoy AmogOS, consider supporting the project through their OpenCollective.

7.Fair Use & DMCA

Content on this site — descriptions, screenshots, guides — is provided under fair use for informational and educational purposes. If you are a rights holder and believe content on amogos.org infringes your copyright, contact us through our Contact page with details, and we will review and respond promptly, including removing content where appropriate.

8.External Links

This site links to external resources including GitHub, Discord, and OpenCollective. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of any third-party site we link to. Visiting those sites is subject to their own terms and policies.

9.Changes to This Disclaimer

We may update this Disclaimer periodically to reflect changes in the site or in AmogOS itself. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
